first_imgFacebook Twitter Email WhatsApp 11THE University of Limerick hosted a historic gathering of Clare County Council members last week.For the first time ever, 28 elected councillors from the Banner County conducted their business for on the UL campus, the Clare side, in the Irish World Academy, for a meeting which also marked independent councillor James Breen’s last official meeting as Cathaoirleach.“The University of Limerick is hugely important for County Clare and the wider region,” said Cllr Breen.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up “We are very proud to have such a quality educational institution on our doorstep.
